Anti-Aging & Wrinkle Treatment
All you need to know about Wrinkles
Wrinkles are folds or creases that appear on the skin as we age. Other reasons for wrinkles include dehydration, smoking, alcohol, and sun damage. As you get older, the skin tends to get drier, thinner, and less elastic than it used to be. With age, the skin also becomes less able to protect itself from damage which leads to wrinkles in the form of creases and lines on the skin.
Why Wrinkle Treatment?
Wrinkles, primarily, appear as a result of aging and a lack of hydration in the skin. We at Derma Grace intend to help you beat these signs of aging to full effect. Depending on the treatment recommended by the dermatologist based on your skin type, our safe & effective treatments can rejuvenate your skin and redeem the youthfulness and glow on your skin.
Types Of Anti-Aging & Wrinkle Treatments
1. Botox
Botulinum toxin (Botox) is a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum and is commonly used in cosmetic skin treatments such as wrinkle removal and skin tightening around the face including forehead, around the eyes, cheekbones. Botox is diluted in saline and injected directly into neuromuscular tissue in the desired area. It takes between 24-72 hours for Botox to take effect.
Benefits:
- Remove facial wrinkles
- Skin tightening
- Reduce fine lines
- Long-lasting effects
2. Fillers
Dermal fillers are different from neurotoxins like Botox. While Botox “freezes” muscles to reduce wrinkles, fillers smoothen the skin by filling wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is the main ingredient in commonly used fillers and has the ability to retain moisture which helps in providing a supple and hydrated look to the treated area. It replenishes the skin and promotes the natural production of hyaluronic acid in the body.
Benefits:
- Promotes natural production of moisture in the skin
- Smoothens the treated area
- Provides hydration and moisture to the skin
- Effects last for several months
3. Threadlift
A thread lift is a type of cosmetic procedure where temporary sutures are made to produce subtle visible lifts in the skin. It works to target sags and folds in the skin and has the effect of slightly pulling and tightening the skin. Threadlift combats aging by provoking the healing response of the body and enhance collagen production.
Benefits:
- Combats effects of aging by tightening the skin
- Promotes collagen production
- Lifts sagging skin
- Tightens skin folds
4. Hydrating Treatment
A hydrating treatment hydrates your skin and is essential for a supple, healthy, and glowing skin. The treatment is focused on locking the moisture and bringing water content back into the skin resulting in radiating skin. If your skin feels flaky, rough, or oily, chances are that your skin is dehydrated.
Benefits:
- Provides moisture to dehydrated skin
- Treats oily skin and irritated skin
- Tackles effects of aging by hydrating the skin
- Moisturizes dry, dull, and flaky skin

How can it be treated?
At Derma Grace, Wrinkle Treatments are carried out by Certified Dermatologists ensuring an effective and replenishing experience. Treatments vary depending on the level of wrinkles.
- Dermabrasion is a method involving surgically wearing away the top layer of the skin resulting in younger-looking skin.
- Laser Treatment is also an effective way to destroy the outer layer of the skin with a precise laser beam which in turn stimulates the development of new collagen fibers and rejuvenates the skin.
- Botox can also be injected into the targeted muscles in small doses which results in the flattening of the skin and a smoother appearance.
- Chemical Peels are frequently used as a solution for aging skin where a chemical solution is applied to the wrinkly areas which cause the dead skin to shed and peel off eventually.
